2010 Partial Scholarship Rules
Unfortunately
because the current world economic crisis, the former supporters of the
jcmelo Institute canceled all the
totally free MBA courses in this 2010 year.
However, in this period as an alternative it is possible to apply
for a partial scholarship from our academic supporter
AbetInternational,
for only US$
220.00 in only one payment (instead of the standard cost of US$ 590.00),
and this
including the final examination,
the Diploma and the Transcript with a Public Notary seal.
To
apply, first see in the link "Frequently Asked Questions", the
details of that partial scholarship, and later fill the Form which is in the
Enrollment
link and send to us.
MBA programs in 35 languages!
Any one of our courses or MBA programs, are taught in up
to 35 languages! In each lesson you will receive two versions, the
original in English and another language of your choice, as your
native language (among our 35 languages options). For details, see
the link How It Work.
And that is very good for you, because in
the Business and IT fields the English is imperative, and you can
compare paragraph by paragraph in the two languages. To compare, you
will see both paragraphs at the same time. As an example, in the
Google Translate link (in the right column) please go to your native
language, and mouse over text or paragraph to view both languages at
the same time.

Brief Notes on Project Management PM
Dr. S. Maurer, MBA Professor
Delivering a project Managëment on time and under budget can provide great emotional rewards; the job offers the opportunity to lead, and new projects keep the work fresh.
A project management has, by definition, a start and a finish.
As the project management progresses, the time estimate becomes more solid as each piece of the project management is examined and a more firm estimate as to how long it'll take to produce the individual pieces.
There is a higher probability that things will accidentally go wrong in a project management than that things will accidentally go right.
Low variability in the project management setting is harder to get our heads around.
project management is all that mix of components of control, leadership, teamwork, resource management etc, that goes into a successful project.
People on project management often come together as strangers.
Make it your rule to plan with those people who will be the performers of the plan.
The easiest way to plan a project is to have those who will execute the work help with the planning ; this has the added benefit that the team is ready to hit the ground running during execution.
If you want to raise a smoke screen for your clients on the true status of your project, have them tape many 8.5*11 sheets to a giant printout of a Gantt chart; these practices are all not acceptable of course.
These processes can be placed into five process groups [initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing] and nine knowledge areas [project integration management, project scope management, project time management, project cost management, project quality management, project human resource management, project communications management, project risk management and project procurement management].
See that people are making clear requests, promises that have completion dates, and share opinions that advance the purposes of the project ; without attention to those critical conversations the project will drift.
Make it your habit to inquire what others see; you’ll see more together.
project managers can be found in all industries; their numbers have grown rapidly as manufacturer and commerce has realised that much of what it does is project management work.
The project Director/manager has to have decision-making authority to keep the objectives, schedule, and resources in balance; in reality, this may be difficult to achieve, but a project Director/manager should at least have a written statement defining his authority and which Director/manager they should go to for decisions beyond the scope of this authority.

-
Project Management
planning,
-
Project Management
executing,
-
Project Management
controlling,
-
Project Management
closing.
Our Online Project
Management PM training course provides an examination of Project Management PM
concepts and strategies. It discusses the components of a management system and
the five phases of the project life cycle, and looks at factors that affect cost
and quality. The project manager's role is explored, and strategies for defining
the project are examined. The close-out phase of a project is also covered.
Other topics include formalizing Project Management PM standards, developing a
project team, and strategies for becoming a more effective project
manager.
Project Management
PM have traditionally been the basic unit of work for many engineering
organizations - consulting, design, and construction firms. Other types of
engineering organizations - government agencies, utilities, manufacturing - are
using projects more and more as a way to tackle problems, make improvements, or
bring new products and services to market more quickly and
efficiently.
Projects generally
involve working in teams with colleagues from disciplines, departments, and even
other companies. Most teams find that the technical portion of the projects are
easy. It is the coordination - the project management - that is
difficult:
- getting people
to communicate with one each other,
- making sure that
individual are on schedule with their own tasks to avoid delaying teammates
who depend on their output,
- getting
decisions quickly from the client and management,
- keeping the
client and management informed.
The key to a
successful project management is in the planning: being clear on the objectives,
deciding how to work together as a team, thinking through how to approach the
scope, setting up a schedule and budget, understanding clearly what will make
the deliverable acceptable to the client of the project. The easiest way to plan
a project is to have those who will execute the work help with the planning.
This has the added benefit that the team is ready to hit the ground running
during execution.
We strongly
recommend that your project management team learns all those Project Management
PM principles, to work together.
